An exciting cabaret duo, Chrissy being English and Alessandro being Italian, bring two very different musical cultures together in the duo ChristAL.
Alessandro from Italy’s beautiful south coast grew up listening to Neapolitan classics and was very much influenced by traditional music.
Chrissy from the north of England, studied opera for four years before diversifying her singing styles into more contemporary styles.
This musical diversity has created a vibrant passionate unison and it’s growing popularity is spreading wherever they play.
Firstly, An Acoustic Evening with Alessandro’s excellent guitar musicianship as a feature. A list of instantly recognisable Italian favourites most of which have been covered by many other famous artists. Proof that a good song is a hit song in any language.
Secondly, Chrissy’s versatility is demonstrated to perfection and the ease with which she shifts effortlessly between pop and classical is a pleasure to hear in Pop goes the Opera.
