Award winning and Star performer Katica, first started playing the violin at the age of 3 taught by her father, Illényi Ferenc. 1999 was a turning point in Katica’s life when she was invited to be a regular player in several European, popular TV shows. In 2001 the Operett Theatre in Munich featured Katica as a soloist in a prestigious gala performance. Her love for music saw her extend her repertoire from classical to the launch of her first album “Let’s sound together!” this album features the music of Stephan Grappelli. She went on to perform in the major opera houses and theatres in her native Hungary. Katica’s most recent album “Jazzy Violin” was released in 2007. Today she is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest and most talented entertainers.
