Bello Duo are a young singing couple from Northern Ireland who originally began singing together at weddings as singing waiters, normally falling over with a tray of cutlery and bursting into song! What they didn’t know though, was that they would soon fall for each other.
In late 2019, Conor and Victoria’s friendship grew into a loving relationship, but it wasn’t long until the world, as we knew it, completely changed. With the country in complete lockdown they began singing together. Taking original anthems and transforming them into duets, coming up with their own arrangements and harmonies and trying to make themselves different from the standard duo out there; it started to become something very special.
Every Thursday night, Conor & Victoria would stand in the street and serenade the neighbours to show their appreciation for the amazing frontline workers saving lives. Within a few weeks of lockdown, the Thursday night show had become very popular and a few of their videos reached over 150,000 views. Not only were they delighted with the positive response but loved bringing a little bit of cheer to those at a very difficult time.
Fast forward a year and the couple went from singing on the door step to being a finalist on the TV Talent show ‘The Big Deal’, having Boy George and the entire audience in the 3 Arena on their feet. Since then the couple have released 2 successful albums with their single of ‘Danny Boy’ hitting No.1 in South Africa, No.4 in the UK vocal charts as well as appearing on BBC 1, ITV, RTE and performing at theatres across the UK and Ireland.
